An immersive experience – The La Grange Interiors showrooms

La Grange Interiors’ unique offering – an eclectic product range complemented by the expertise that comes from three decades in the industry – makes it stand out in the interior design landscape of South Africa. The retail journey of the two showrooms elevates the experience further.

Ever evolving & inspiring

What sets La Grange Interiors apart from other furniture showrooms is not one single thing, but rather a couple of attributes that when combined make for a unique and immersive shopping experience. First is the diversity of the product range across South African luxury furniture – spanning large furniture pieces, artisanal textiles, one-off-accessories and everything in between, La Grange Interiors’ selection allows you to craft an entire space using its pieces.

Second is its various collections – international design brands exclusive to La Grange Interiors in South Africa, pieces custom designed by owner Sumari Krige, and items sources by her from all over the world give the product range eclecticism, diversity and variety.

Styled periodically with fresh flowers and in ever-changing iterations and layouts, the spaces are always evolving and live and breathe La Grange Interiors’ design ethos. Seasonal collections and rotating room settings keep the spaces fresh and inspiring – seeing the pieces styled and in context fuels the imagination and allows ideas for your own space to spark.

From Joburg’s Design Hub to a Cape Town Interior hotspot

The locations of our two showrooms make the process of visiting, shopping and browsing as easy as it is inspiring. In Johannesburg, our showroom is situated in Kramerville – a design and interiors-intensive centre near Sandton. Easy to find, park and access, it showcases a large range of our stock.

In Cape Town, you’ll find us in the Woodstock Quarter. Woodstock, like Kramerville, is known for being a hotspot for the interior design industry – vibrant and authentic, here you’ll find our street-level storefront, filled with furniture, collectables and accessories.

Added layers of expertise

The teams at our showrooms aren’t merely versed in retail, they’re also design experts and have a deep knowledge and understanding of the product ranges and stock. But more – as a result of La Grange Interiors being an interior design and retail business – they can offer insights and advice on what to buy, how to style, and how to get the maximum value and impact within your budget.

Before you go – Maximising your visit

While you can only really decide on individual pieces once you’ve seen them yourself, it’s a good idea to have a bit of a plan in place before you head to the showroom. Defining your project scope – what rooms you need to furnish, the budget you have for the project and the style you’re looking to achieve.

Create a design wish list, take pictures and measure any key spaces (think sofa dimensions and cabinet and server sizes) and come armed with your Pinterest boards and house plans if available. From there you can test furniture for comfort and functionality, check colourways, feel textures and ask questions. And leave the rest to us!
