Founded in 2017, the Danish brand is known for organic forms, refined textures, expressive colour and a deep respect for craftsmanship.
At the heart of 101 Copenhagen is a meeting of North and East. The brand’s collections draw on Danish design heritage while translating the simplicity and materiality of Japanese aesthetics into contemporary forms. Designers Tommy Hyldahl and Kristian Sofus Hansen combine backgrounds in fashion, art, architecture and Japanese design to create pieces that feel sculptural yet considered, expressive yet timeless.
It is an approach that feels naturally aligned with La Grange Interiors. We share a belief in investing in pieces where quality, material and craftsmanship are as important as the way an object looks. For 101 Copenhagen, this is evident in the artisanal processes behind its ceramics, glass, wood and lighting, where subtle variations are embraced as part of each piece’s character.
Now in – fresh pieces for a new season
This latest edit brings together luxury furniture and decorative lighting, with silhouettes that add depth and character without overwhelming a room. Inspired by architecture, art and natural forms, the collection has a sense of quiet confidence – allowing individual pieces to make an impression while sitting comfortably within a layered interior.
Among the arrivals is the Crown Table in a new colour – Caramel, a warm, luminous take on the sculptural design. Its mouth-blown glass top and cylindrical base create an elegant balance between solidity and lightness, while the caramel tone introduces a subtle warmth that works beautifully alongside natural timber, stone and softer neutral palettes.
The Ishi Coffee Table arrives in Smoked Forest and Caramel, as well as High Glaze Birch. Named after the Japanese word for ‘rock’, Ishi takes its cues from natural stone formations, with an organic, softened form. The mouth-blown glass is shaped in a custom mould and hand-finished, giving each table its own character.
For lighting, the new Beetle Portable Lamp brings a playful sculptural quality, combining a curved chrome shade with crystallised marble legs. Rechargeable and dimmable, it can move easily around the home, offering a warm, ambient glow wherever it is placed.
The Pearl Floor Lamp in Brass takes a more atmospheric approach, pairing an opal glass orb with a perforated metal screen that creates shifting patterns of light and shadow. Its hand-brushed brass finish adds warmth and a refined, tactile quality.
